Aexylium was formed in Varese (Italy) in 2014.

Aexylium has performed at many renowned European festivals, such as Dong Open Air (GER), Tanzt! (GER), Mead & Greed (GER), Dark Medieval Fest (GER), Montelago Celtic Festival, Malpaga Folk & Metal, Druidia, and more.
During these events, Aexylium shared the stage with numerous bands like Blind Guardian, Korpiklaani, Folkstone, Elvenking, Wind Rose, Tyr, Vision Divine, Furor Gallico, Temperance, and others.

The debut album, Tales From This Land (2018), was released through Underground Symphony Records. It was recorded at Twilight Studio by Davide Tavecchia and mastered by Simone Mularoni (Elvenking, DGM, Secret Sphere).

In 2021, Aexylium signed a deal with Rockshots Records for the new album titled ‘The Fifth Season’, recorded at Twilight Studio, with artwork created by Jan Yrlund of Darkgrove Design (Testament, Manowar, Korpiklaani).
So far, the band has released six music videos as singles.

Aexylium’s partners include Solar Guitars, Footblaster, Liuteria Cocopelli, and Firebird Strumenti Musicali.

“The third and latest album, titled ‘Myth of Mankind’, has been released on May 23, 2025 via Rockshots Records, with artwork created by the talented artist Gustavo Sazes (Arch Enemy, James Labrie, Machine Head, Amaranthe, Epica, Manowar, etc.).”

On November 19th, 2025, the album is reissued and distributed in Japan through Ward Records, with special appreciation from Captain Wada.
